Yes please!
http://www.impeachbush.org/
Personally, I think he is the worst President of all. It's time to do something about it.
I can go on and on about him. But, I'm sure most of you already know why.
Nuf said.

To be fair, the worst President in history award would probably go to James Buchanan, as his administration was mostly at fault for the Civil War. I'm no fan of GWB, but until the blue states actually secede from the Union, there have been worse presidents. |

Let us not forget about "good" ol' Nixon, the only president in U.S. history to be impeached. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Nixon was not impeached. He resigned first. |

Yeah, so far in history there have only been two presidents who have been impeached, though neither were removed from office. They were Andrew Johnson (seventeenth president, sworn in after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln) and Bill Clinton. The reason for this is because the U.S. impeachment process is a two-step process.
First, the House of Representatives must pass an "article of impeachment" by simple majority, and which point the defendant is considered "impeached". Second, a trial is held by the Senate, and a two-thirds majority vote is needed to convict, and if that happens then the accused is forced out of office and may be further barred from holding public office. If a two-thirds majority isn't made in the Senate, then the accused is acquitted and there is no punishment. This is what happened to both Clinton and Johnson, both were acquitted when the Senate failed to get a two-thirds majority (Johnson by only one vote!)
Richard Nixon basically stepped down before the impeachment proceedings went under way. The articles of impeachment against him had already been agreed upon by a House committee and reported before the full House of Reps, but they had not yet gone through the first step when he resigned. His successor, Gerald Ford, granted Nixon a full pardon afterwards, ensuring that there would be no further action taken against him. _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! Not to mention that Nixon did some good while in office, him being the first President to successfully open diplomatic relations with China. In fact, aside from the Vietnam War, his administration actually did a fairly good job when it came to foreign policy. Now, domestic issues, that's a whole 'nother story.... |

Nixon got things done, but there was no doubt that a fair amount of corruption was within his administration. He wasn't a terrible president, he just got caught sticking his neck out for people he probably should have avoided any contact with. He was corrupt, but at least he was competent, which can't be said of Bush... _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! A Bon Bon Tale)

Before i continue i think that you should know that i am a us marine and have served time in Iraq furthermore i have lost friends to this war... i don't want your pity and i don't want to hear any condolences what i want is for you to think... it is pointless to blame thier deaths on bush it has gone to far for that... Blame those who killed them |

I feel i've been misunderstood here.Im not offering pitty. If you are a soldier you already know what you're getting yourself into.I have not been to Iraq nor am I a soldier in the Army.I know what it is to loose someone close,be it a relative or a friend. But let me ask you Bestile, what would you have done if someone came in your home carrying a gun?
But lets not base our acquaintance on a strife. If you ask me...it would have been better without a war.
Peace. _________________ F.E.A.R.™-Fatal.Effluent.Assault.Rhymes™

no real disagreement here have you ever heard the quote "a true warrior prays for peace, for only he knows the true price of war" we never asked for the war we just do our job... now one last comment there is no house to house anymore its all hidden explosives.... but yes i get and understand your point |

Another version of that quote I've heard goes "Pray for peace, prepare for war." I can quote a couple of other versions as well. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Sorry to necropost, but I must say this.
Everyone, watch what happens this January. If what I've heard is correct, once Bush leaves office, he will be arrested and tried as a war criminal, and finally get what he deserves. |
