I know that this is a strange subject, more suited for Halloween or the darker winter months. But I thought I would bring the matter up as I have recently experienced a rather unusual occurence. I was walking through an familiar town in mid-Wales with my brother, when across the street from an small narrow alleyway emerged a quite lovely young lady.
About late twenties, average height, fair complexion and beautiful long curly brown hair, worn loose and dropping just past her shoulders.
What drew my attention further was that she was dressed in a manner I can only discribe as liken to 'Nell Gwenn'. Mid-seventeen hundreds style.
A white blouse, off both shoulders, a bright green bodice and light brown full length skirt. The lady came out of the alleyway looked left and right then without turning around ducked back in to the alleyway.
The curious thing was no one passing in front of the alleyway took any notice of her. I pointed the lady in question out to my brother but by then she had gone. We crossed the road to try and find her but the narrow passage way only lead to the next street and there was no sign of the lady. I asked around the area inquiring about festivals, pagents plays or renactments which might have accounted for the strangely dress woman, but to no avail. This is not the first time such an event has ocurred to me, but I thought I would ask if any one esle has had similar experiences. _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

A few of the women in my family (mostly in my mother's side of the family) have had eerie experiences with the paranormal, but for the most part I've never experienced anything to that degree myself. I suppose I fall more on the skeptical side of the scale... I enjoy a good ghost story, but I've never seen or experienced anything that made me a believer. _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! A Bon Bon Tale)

Lol. I find it funny that this popped up in the forums only a few days after i had to do an impromptu speech on this for my speech class. Keeping it short, yes i do, and i have had one experience with one when i was six, though i haven't seen any since. _________________ My Fursona(updates occasionally) http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7537

My mother, may she rest in peace, was scottish and of a old Highland family. She had the second sight. Drop a spoon and " Somebody's coming" and sure enough some one would come knocking at the door. What use to really creep me out as my mother would look at the telephone and say " That phones going to ring" and within a few minites it would even if it was only a sales call or wrong number. _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

I'm not trying to convince anybody, but I know for a 100% fact that entities/ "ghosts" do exist. |

while i do consider myself to be a man more inclined towards science and reason as opposed to paranoia and superstition, i do believe in ghosts, while there has been no actuall scientific proof as of yet i believe there could be a scientific basis for the paranormal. it just might be beyond or ability to understand... for now.

At my work we have three gousts. One named jon throws spoons, boxes, cups and cuts the power. And the funny thing is every one else has power but us and no breakers are blown. And we allways look to try to figure out who does it. I've even set up cameras but stuff still happens on camera with no entity. That's messed up _________________

As for me, I don't believe in ghosts, necessarily, although I do believe in an afterlife. No, that isn't a self-contradiction.

I grew up in a house that was built by my family about 100 years ago. A lot of the "classic" paranormal activity would happen on a regular basis. We know who was doing it and it was to a point where it was normal for us. Objects would move, sometimes you would see things move. I have several stories of objects moving by themselves. You would have a feeling of something was there. Not a paranoia feeling, but more of a certainty. Its hard to explain. The old TV would turn on and change channels every night. It was the kind with the knob that you would have to pull out to turn on and turn the knob to turn it up. The channel know was the kind that would click when you turn it to click the channels. It would turn on to a comfortable volume and change channels. You could often smell natural gas, natural gas has the smell of decaying flesh added to it so it can be detected, we had no gas leak. Cold spots, often you can see little white spots (orbs) floating around a room. I've seen what looked like a white mist in the corner of the room. I've been poked in the middle of the back while I was in bed, I wasn't sleeping yet and nobody was there. It was a hard poke between my shoulder blades, it felt like a finger. I can go on and on with stories that I've experienced in that house and I have even more stories that my mother and father have told me that I haven't experienced. I have no reason not to believe them.
I've had this discussion a million times with people who don't believe and with ones who do. Its a never ending debate that unless you actually see something that you can't explain, you just won't believe somebody else. There are several weird things that have happened which I could come up with a possibility for and I write those off, but nothing like that house I lived in when I was younger. About 6 months ago, I was in my bedroom with my girlfriend. It was about 1:30am and there was a hard, fast pounding on the bedroom door. 5 fast, hard pounds that sounded like someone was pounding with their fist. My bedroom is on the 2nd floor and I have 4 dogs. 2 have huge ears and bark at everything and anything. 1 is a rottweiler that stays on the 1st floor and the 4th is a pitbull that sleeps in bed with us. None of the dogs barked and my girlfriend and myself heard it. I yelled "what?" and there was no answer. She asked me, "who the hell is that?" I said, "its probably John" (her teenage kid). She said "Johns at his dad's house." I grabbed my knife and the pitbull and flung the door open, nobody was there. I searched the house and nobody was in the house, all the doors and windows were locked. I didn't hear anybody run down the stairs after the knock and the dogs would have heard it too. Them not barking at all was very odd. This was strange because nothing has ever happened in this house before. I was more scared of this than the other house because I don't know who it could have been and I couldn't explain how it happened.
My step father has just seen an apparition. He is the most honest guy I know. He thought it was my mom and went to ask her something because he saw her walk into the kitchen (the back of a person going around the corner) and when he was yelling into the kitchen and she answered from behind him in another room he went to see who just walked into the kitchen and nobody was in the house but him and her.
I do believe there are multiple/infinite dimensions of reality. Physical and non-physical. Some of these realities merge with ours and some don't. Many entities don't even know that they're haunting a place and they can actually be living while they're doing it. Time is non-existant. Different points of time are considered different plains of reality. One can leak through to another time and haunt a place 50 years later and not realize it. Like a woman walking up a flight of stairs wearing an old dress. There are several different types of paranormal activity nobody has all the answers for how it all works.
Of course I'll probably get all kinds of responses to my post, but like I said before, I'm not trying to convince anybody of what I've seen or experienced. There are believers and non-believers. Non believers who become believers and those who believe for no reason. I can respect all of these. I don't know if I believe in UFO's. I've never seen one and I don't know if they exist. Others have said that they've seen them, but I don't know who they are and I don't know if I can believe them. I have my theories about them, but thats all they are.
As far as believing in paranormal activity 100%, yes. As far as I'm concerned, its a fact and nobody will ever change my mind. |

HE-MAN! HE-MAN! HE-MAN!!
Anyhoo.
I believe in ghosts mostly because of stupid Oiujiu(?) boards. of course, it kind of helps that my cousin blindfolded me and made me play the game with her in a GRAVEYARD.

"Bad ghosts" are'nt nearly as numerous as most people think. Most of the time, those "bad ghosts" are just trying to have a little fun or get some attention. So next time, just pay them some attention and see what happens. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

I do believe in them and I have seen both 'good' and 'bad' spirits. Hell one followed me around for almost an entire day at High school in my Senior year. I only talked to him when no-one was around. Like at home usually. and also I've hear stories that my house here is haunted... It is... but they rarely bug us. Only me i think anymore. I've heard so many voices in our attic. _________________ I'm not dead, just.... Hibernating. ON the MOON. :3 Luna's bum. |

I really, really wanted to believe... but after all my cemetary stalking, haunted house creeping and rumor chasing... I ain't seen a thing.
I guess I'm just as unpopular with the spirits as I am with the ladies.... _________________ "One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster.

This might sound not believeble, but i've been beaten up a few times by them, they dare to poke me very hard, or give me a sting.

Heh, not sure that's such sound advice, Ash. My sister's a huge fan of the show "Paranormal State", and practically every other episode it seems like the investigators run into something dangerous... _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! A Bon Bon Tale)

I enjoy a British based paranormal investigation program called "Most Haunted" some of the items they have on that are very frighting. _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

I am sorry I did not reply earlier to your post, a lack of connection did not help.
I have had some very strange encounters over my many years.
When I was young between the ages of eight and fourteen; I could 'hear' Morse code signals in bed at night, but only when I lay on my right side.
I attributed this to the telephone wire being just outside my window and a major miliitary base only two miles away. When I was fifthteen the family dog had to be put down because of ill-health and I was upset as I had grown up with her, that night I laid awake in bed as 'Something' breathed/panted on my cheek. I have always thought it was the family dog's way of saying goodbye as I could not go with her to the vet's on her final journey.
I have had other encounters, and I shal relate them in further posts. _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198
