I just got back into WoW recently after about 7 months of being away from it. I rerolled from being a 70 combat spec human rogue on a PVE server, to a now level 30 blood elf shadow priest on a PVP server.
Whoever says priests are useless in combat would definately have to think twice after some of the silly, yet interesting encounters with some of the people I fought against, but this one by far is my most interesting encounters.
I was on the border of the 1000 Needles and the Barrens, overlooking the cliff before the main trail of jagged peaks, blades, and fangs of the local residents below, just before reaching the lift then lead me back down to turn in a few quests that I had finally finished when a 32 paladin from the Alliance thought me an easy kill. I had just hit 30 and gotten a few nifty spells, Mind control being one of them, and since this was the first time for me to try it out, I thought it would be a good premiere usage of it. Boy was I surprised!
The requirement of the spell is that it can only take possession of one humanoid character up to level 32, and lasts a full minute before the effects wear off. Well..... I thought that since I was so close to the cliff, I simply had the dude jump off the cliff, henceforth killing him at the bottom.
Any moments on WoW that you experienced that were funny?
