I got one.
( I just hope it will make sense and easy for some of you to imagine it....well...if you want to ^^!....and if this story fits in this thread. ^^!)
OK, Last year, I had a sleep over with my two closest friends and one of my best cousin. We were all in my room, talking, listening to music, etc. I told to them that I am going to take a shower. So, I grabbed my towel and my purple, shower cap and head to the bathroom.
Fifteen minutes later I got out, with my towel wrapped around me and wearing the purple, shower cap on my head. As I walking to my room, I didn't paid attention to the conversation that is going on in my room, until I heard my younger brother asked, "Where's Jenny?" ((that's my name by the way.)) Right after my younger brother asked that, as in on cue, I opened my bedroom door.
Then everything went silent. All eight eyes glued to my direction and their eyes went wide when they saw me wearing just a towel...with a purple, shower cap on my head.
After 10 seconds of silence, all four of them busted out laughing.
My face turned pink when that happen. Not only it was an arkward moment for me, it was the most funniest moment my friends, my cousin, my brother, and I had ever happened. From that day on, every time I have a sleepover with them and I announced I'm going to take a shower, they all will laugh and mentioned about me entering the room wearing nothing but a towel and a purple, shower cap on my head.
The End. :3 |

I just find myself, far too often, running into people from my past that I remember but they clearly dont remember me. I make eye contact, wait for a reaction, nothing.
The worst is the typical wave-to-someone-behind-me and having me break into smile and greet back, only to realize what just happened. _________________ Ewan's Golden Glass

ok i know this topic is kinda old, but here goes.
so, a couple of weeks ago, before i had finished up my senior exams for high school, me and a group of my friends were hanging around outside the school wiating for our classes to start, like we do every morning. i saw my friend sean make a rather odd facial expression, i asked him what that was to which he siad "i just saw franswa(i am SO mispelling that)make a really wierd look on his face and was just immitating it"... now franswa is one of our schools foriegn exchange students from france and i had heard from a couple of my friends that he has the stereotypical french, stuck-up, snobby attitude. so i siad "wiat is'nt franswa that french dude with the douchebag-ish attitude" to which all my friends just looked at me in shocked silence... guess who was standing RIGHT behind me... yep, i had never seen this guy before, so i didnt think he was standing behind me. i turned after one of my friends had pointed out my error and this dude looked PISSED, and he could take me in a fight(im not a bigg guy so he could definitly take me in a fight) and i was actually scared that we were going to come to blows... up untill i thought "wiat a minute, he's french whats he gonna do" _________________

Yeah, it would be fun to see a French cheetah, it would be fitting for the old steretype.
Anyways, this story has a bit of an interesting little twist. Ok, so this happened right around the time I had finished school. (Didn't graduate, but I got my GED, then realized I could've had it before going to high school and avoided wasting my life in my hell hole of a school. Anyways, too off track) So, my brother ended up with a girlfriend and due to floods caused by the remnants of Katrina that hit us, she moved in with us. My brother going to school, often was away and she didn't always enjoy their time together. So, she decided to start talking to someone who knew my brother well. Guess who? That's right, me. And so this went on where I played the therapist to keep their relationship together. During this time, that wasn't the only relationship getting stronger. So, how awkward is it to be in an affair with your brother's girlfriend? |

Hmmm.... ackward moments.... ackward moments.... ah here it is:
My Most Ackward Moment.
I was about eleven or so years when I was living with my grandmother. She worked every weekend during the evenings, and my sister usually spent her friday night over at a friends house. Me? I usually spent my time staying up a little past my bedtime playing my N64. So there I was, playing Legend of Zelda.... or was it Starfox.... meh, does'nt matter, my dad had a friend over and I felt sorta sick from drinking a virgin strawberry dacqurri (I don't know how to spell that word). Well, when I openned the door to my dad's room, him and the woman were.... well, I won't go into details, but I passed out after I bled out of my nose. _________________

I'm american, but I don't think any less of the canadians any more than I do any other american I see on a daily basis. I mean, I've enjoyed a few of South Park shows, but I don't really enjoy all the concepts on there. To be honest, I did'nt even really think much on that 'head flapping' thing. _________________

Well, I generally don't like to do stereotypes. Besides, I think there's some Americans that are worse than the stereotypes of Canadians (Fargo anyone?)
As far as jealous, it's pretty much only over the healthcare system. I don't see why I see ads for $30 a month health coverage through one company when the cheapest plan for my area is $130 a month. |

oh thale.. if i had known that was you i wouldnt have siad those things over xbox live (jk, i dont have xbox live)
if it makes you feel any better, me and my cousin were playing halo 3 with a couple chaps in canada, and they were saying stuff like are you both so fat that you havent moved in days, are you rednecks, are you both currently eating cheeseburgers... i thought it was kinda funny.
all joking aside, i could certianly see how the comments across xbox live might get annoying. from playing with family and friends i can tell that some people you play agianst online are... unpleasent. i dont mind the jokes, actually, most times it from friends that i know are just kidding around, so i laugh along with em. I'm French living in America, or Canada, sometimes. I take lots of insults...
How're them frogs? Snails tastey? Not all that bad, but htere have been worse...I've been called a fry, every now and then. Once, somebody asked me if I wanted his (and I quote directly) 'shrimp in my barbie'.
How does a French accent sound like an Austrailians?!?! _________________ [insert witty comment]
