The thread KrystalWolf started about Gears of War II got me thinking about Fable II and if anyone else is looking forward to it's release too. Comments, anyone? I, for one, am not only looking forward to it but have the special/collector's edition game and guide reserved. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Mr. Gray, you read me like an open book. My excitement for this game is through the roof, as Fable one was one of my favorite first person RPG's. As for your reserved copy.....

I rarely use the guides myself, but I get them every single time I can. (if nothing else, I get a discount for buying them at the same time) I get them for the character biographies and emergency use. And as for you, Feingo, there's nothing lucky about it. Just go in, lay down five dollars (ten if you want to reserve the guide too) and say "I want to reserve <insert game here> for <insert system here>." _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Well, the first task would be finding a videogame store within liberty hours drving distance. But, I suppose you do have a valid point there Ashton. Hell, it worked for Halo 3. _________________ BonBon Spirits and Sidearms

As well as any other game, not just the big releases. Though, finding the store would be a good first step. And if all else fails, order online and have it delivered. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

That's true. I've just never been much of one to order things online. But, liberty hours are short, and I'm not entirely sure there's a videogame store in the minimall out here. I may have to break down. _________________ BonBon Spirits and Sidearms

Believe me, it's not nearly as big a deal as some people make it out to be. The only downside is you can't get it the day it comes out and you torture yourelf everyday when you rush out to your mailbox and it's not there. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

AHHH, I was gonna post this in October. You took my fire (NEHHH...)
No worries man, at least its here, well here's another one who can't wait. I'm passing the time by writing, school, work, playing Star Wars: TFU, and of course here, and Yiffstar.
Everyone before you open the game on October 21st or 22nd, PRAY to the video game gods, that Peter Molxenue DID achieve his quote, "We're going to make the BEST video game ever." Just remember that. CHOW or Caoi _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

Sorry, I did'nt mean to beat you to the punch, Revan, but my curiousity got the better of me. Unfortunatly, even with passing the time with various and sundry distractions, even those as fun as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, October 21st is still TOO FAR AWAY! And as for said prayers, I am constantly doing so. But even more than that, I'm praying that time will pass quickly. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Gears of War, was fun, since Halo 3 wasn't out yet, so shooter fans got something to pass the time with, and play online. Personally I think that's why Gears of War did well in the first place. I do know it has a great plot and great graphics and the voice acting supberb, but once I beat the game, I just put it away, and the only time I brought it out, was to help friend when he wanted to know what it was like. I for one won't be buying Gears of War 2, I may rent it, but pobably not buy. As for there being more people waiting for Fable 2, its simple, its a good game. The first had promise, but sadly was too short, and so LionGates studio said that we'll improve on it, and so 4 to 5 years later of programming and testing they "Believe" it's ready, and they say it's 5 to 6 times longer. That's about 200+ hours, like Final Fantasy type sh*t. Not to mention that this game will have better graphics, and if you have xbox live, later downloadable content, adding more play time value. I for one can't wait for this, and have already researved the special edition game, I did it the night Force Unleashed came out.
As for sexymanz, sorry dude, we can give you a link, but I think you either need 1 of the 2 listed things I'm about to tell you.
1) Subscribe to the site, it might be free, I can't remember, and I'm too lazy to check.
2) You need some Activision X, movie thingy, I don't know.
I've tried at least 4 times to check the site out, only to be at the front page, and when I try to delve deeper into it, I can't. So I just gave up and said, "Eh, I'll just wait for it to out, that way it'll be a bigger surprise."
By the way, I'm gonna be evil, but I'm gonna treat my dog with a lot of love. That way he'll morph into a hell hound of sorts, and kill all I come across. I'm gonna RULE Albion. MWA HA HA HA _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

I guess that means it's up to me to stop you, Revan. I'm always good. I tried being evil once, but I could'nt get past the first evil choice before I had to reload and go over the choice again. Just bear in mind, the original Revan reformed in one version of his story. And as for you, Dakota, try visiting various game sites (gamestop.com, etc.) and look for screenshots and game descriptions of it. Alternatively, you can also try looking for trailers on youtube, but I don't know if there are any so that's the chance you'll have to take. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Ah but remember Ashton. In Kotor 2 Revan may have turned evil, to prevent an even greater evil from destroying ruling the galaxy. The "True" Sith Empire, the empire that has been slumbering in the dark, and now about to awaken. This will be the plot for Kotor 3, whenever Lucas Arts gets around to it. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

Okay, okay, I concede LOL. I guess you two have read more Star Wars novels than I. Though I try to keep up with canon anf all through wookipedia and wikipedia for time to time. I prefer Revan being evil, it makes more sense. Just as in the new game force unleashed. If at the end you fight the emperor the game is part of the trilogy, but if you fight and kill Vader instead of fight and die by the Emperor, the Emperor will capture you and make you a Sith Stalker, which is completely off the story. Oh and saphron, I read your messege and am confused by the following statement you made
"You guys do realize that the Sith Empire is destoyed by one of their own right? He was even given the truth of it by Revan himself......or as close to him as possible."
When and where in the games did this happen, and are you refering to the exile? Or did you get a book, and read this, if so tell me its name, so I can go buy it. CHOW or Caio _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

Actually, considering the vast amount of Star Wars novels out there, I've barely read a handfull. I was refering to the good and evil sides of the game. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

AHHHH, well the have you read Star Wars: Path of Destruction andRule of two. They are 2 books in a series, that talk about Darth Bane, who created the rule of two, and killed all the sith, making the jedi think they were finally all destroyed. His teachings where the basis for all the sith to come, even Palpatine's. By far the best Star Wars novel I have ever read. It hass cameos of Emperor Revan, the planet where the Star Forge was, what is left of the Star Forge, and the world where the jedi came from, Talos. I would HIGHLY reccomend you go to Barnes and Nobles, or ebay, or Books A Million and find these two and read them. I loved them so much I read them both in 4 days. Oh and did I mention it was canon. So that's also a reason why I said Revan was evil, since Bane found a holocron of him in the Racatan temple, where Jolee Bindo and that Cathar jedi got killed near the end of Kotor. It was Revan who taught Bane the "Thought Bomb" SOO COOL. Sadly Revans holocron lost its power, and when that happens the A.I. within it dies, and all its knowledge is lost forever. PLZ reply look forward to it, as well as anyone elses.
But still we need to remember this thread is about Fable 2, oops I certainly forgot, So I'll add something else to it, FABLE ROCKS WHOAAA _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

In answer to your question: No, I have'nt read that one. In regards to your comment about Jolee and Juhani getting killed: I have never heard of that ever happening, but then I've never played the evil side, so for all I know it could happen there. And in response to your "FABLE ROCKS WHOAAA" exclamation: Yes, it does. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

actually revan, darth bane was not the one who "creeated" the rule of two, but was tought it by revans holocron, near the middle of the book. if you pay attention it states thatbane spent well over a month gathering all the knowledege that the failing holocron had. it while he was doing this that revan told him the rule of two, which revan himself discovered after he fell from the sith army in kotor.
and yes, it does indeed rock _________________ why must we fight who we really are? |

Hey thanks saphron, I forgot about that comletely. But I just want to point out, that he really didn't follow his own rules to the letter. So in my opinion I still believe Bane to be the instigator of the rule of 2, even if Revan created it, I guess Revan disreguarded his own findings and rules, seeing as the where just too much to deal with at the time for him and Malak. Just wanted to put that out there, and I hope you understand that it's just my opinion, so sorry if I offended you in any way. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

not at all. it's vewry rare to be able to discuss these novels in such a way.
and i do agree with you in that matter however not in that there was too much to deal with. i personaly beleive he found the rule of two only shortly before malak betrayed him. thus the reason why the holocron did not detail his transormation back into a jedi at the end of kotor. _________________ why must we fight who we really are? |
