PLZ if you could care less about Toonami, doen't post, or make fun of it.

To be honest, I have'nt watched regular television in at least two years, so I don't know what Toonami has become but I know what it was, and with that knowledge, I proclaim the following: NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Silentium est aurum |

I was shocked too when I found last night after watching Naruto. Any ideas as to why they did it? |

Apperently ratings must be bad. Naruto is pretty much the only thing to watch on it, though I haven't seen any episodes since the one where Lee, was talking about the curry of life. All those episoded a fill ins until they jump 2 and a half years forward, and everyone gets a new make over, and moves.
Oh check this out though, adult swim isn't doing good either. I watch tv one day a week, ONE day, and it's for adults swim Code Geass (actually surprised me its soo good, I recommend anime fans watching this one, you might think its corny at first on episode 1, but when the end of that episode hits ya, BOOM your hooked) I heard Japan loved it soo much, they petitioned the studio, writers, and artists, to make a 2nd season. That was unpresedented. the other two are Bleach, and the new one Morbito: Guardian of the Spirit.
I work all day Friday and Saturday, like 12 to 13 hours each, not to mention the other days, gotta juggle school around too, but anyway, all I ask on Saturday is to watch these three shows, 1 hour 30 min, and I'm good for the week, but now they scheduled Bleach for 10pm, which I'm still at work, and I can't stay awake to 1am because i need sleep to do another 7 hour shift Sunday. But the kicker is that Code Geass and Morbito got moved to 5am and 5:30 am central time. And I'm not going to record it on VHS because it will look too crappy. Wish I had TVO.
So in a nutshell Toonami (BANG <=== this is what their last word was before cutting off, for like FOREVER) and Adult Swim, because they like "Comedy more" like the viewers don't matter, have pretty much F***KED anime, and so, will most likely lose viewers, I tried staying up to 5am last week, and go to work 3 hours later, NEARLY KILLED ME, I must have nearly passed out 18 times, and that's not good when your around customers that you have to serve. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. A very sad time, especially considering one of the first message board communities I became heavily involved in was a Toonami discussion board.
A piece of my... well, not childhood, but young-adulthood at least... has been taken away. I can't say I blame Cartoon Network, either, since Toonami has been going on a downward slide ever since its glory days, but I still have very fond memories of that particular programming block. I still remember discovering Toonami when I was in highschool, being excited that the network was showing Thundercats and Voltron, two of my favorite shows when I was a wee tyke. I remember thinking how extraordinary it was that American TV had finally gotten itself some balls when they began showing Outlaw Star, DBZ, and Gundam Wing. Still, for all the milestones, there are always a few things most of us would prefer to forget (Hamtaro, anyone?), but even those memories can be laughed at fondly.
Farewell, Toonami, and thank you for all the memories.

I've been watching alot of youtube vids, saying farwell to the thing. And they all have in common was that Outlaw Star was probably the smartest move they made in the day, I agree. Just wanted to put that out there.
P.S. For all of you who where there at its initial conception, and so pretty much everything about it will love this.

Just watch it, it's only 46 seconds long, but the ending is worth it. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |

not dissing anything here I watch toonami and adultswim consistenly, but both have been going downhill majorly the stuff they show on them now is all crap though the classics like family guy are good and robot chicken is good for a cheap laugh, other than that they haven't come up with a good show idea in years, code Geass is the only thing worth watching on saturday night though they put some new thing up that i neevr got to watch that could have been cool but ehh whatever I will still probably watch it all in my never ending attempt to slow aging |

As do I. As well as the series that came before Endless Waltz; Gundam Wing. One simply is'nt complete without the other, in my opinion. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Here's a list of mine...Hellsing the anime....Hellsing OVA 1,2,3,4...Ergo Proxy, the entire set, Gilgamesh (all), Trinity Blood(all), Outlaw Star (all), RaXephon(all), Last Exile (all), Burst Angel (half), Deathnote(all), Full Metal alchemist (all), Gost in the Shell movie, and both seasons, and Innocense, Eureka 7 (all), Gantz (all), Appleseed, Endless Waltz, Blue Sub #6 (of course all), Trigun (all), Tengue Tenge(all) and the OVAs, and Shuffle(all)
I bought these with my money and legally, since I rarely buy stuff for my self other than books, food, and gas, as well as a few bills. I also get a 40% discount when I got to my friends shop, I get them there, and all heve to pay the production cost, since I help with some of his accounting and bill expenditures. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi <------ I love this one...it's SOO messed up as for things like Negima and Love Hina, I don't really like romance mangas, even though I write romance stuff LOL,I will read their mangas, I got so many on my plate, though Chibi Vampire (manga) is my favorite romance one, it's still ongoing.
Oh and I forgot Gene Shaft series. If you haven't heard of it, look it up. the full version of the opening is GRAND, though I got this feeling in my head the anime I'm thinking of isn't Gene Shaft. I'm too lazy to verify it, it's too late tonight, and my internet is sucking something fierce. _________________ Make Peace or War$, whatever you prefer. LOL |
