PostPosted: Fri Apr 22, 2011 3:51 pm    Post subject: Two Pokemon Movies? Reply with quote

I've heard from Japan that the fourteenth Pokemon movie,'Victini and the Black Hero,' is actually two movies with the same story, but with different things, with the other being 'Victini and the White Hero.'

Basically, it's just Pokemon Black the movie, and Pokemon White the movie, two identical movies being released at the exact same time! Shocked

...

What's the point of it all! Why should they make two movies, when you normally should have one, talk about advertising!

::Smacked my face with a sigh!::

Pokemon is a dying game. So right now they are trying to milk the proverbial dying cow before the money for it dries up.

Your right! Putting Ancient Greece in Japan in the 12th movie is one thing but this!

This time they've gone too far!

lol, the series had to end at some point. Pokemon used to be fun and full of wonder, now there is no mystery or quality to it anymore.

Makes me want to talk to Ash in person?

Me: Hey listen Ash, I know I love the frenchaise and everything, but could you please do me one favor if you don't mind?
Look into a mirror! I mean really, look at yourself, and see what you can see in your reflection. I mean my goodness, look at what you've become, your a pathetic trainwreck! Your stories and adventures with your pikachu don't make sense to everyone at all, it's the same old same old in some parts, as you went and took the liberty of running the Fat Controller's railway with HIT Entertainment! That goes for the movies as well, I mean, how much did it cost you? Maybe thousands, millions of Yens, I can't keep track! And you keep on doing this every year, when you should've retired after being the Pokemon Master by now?
Oh forget it! I give up! You went and killed it, you killed the frenchise and insulted Mario, Kirby, Link and Nintendo big style! That's no wonder you fail at Pokemon, Ash. That's no wonder Paul keeps on saying 'Pathetic' at you all the time, and it's no wonder why Professor Oak had to commit Seppaku!

I then reached into my pocket and got out my wallet.

Me: Here! that's twenty, fourty pounds! That's enough to get you to see a simariton. You have a serious problem, and it needs to be resulved. I mean seriously, why are you making such rubbish nowerdays to people with your frenchaise?

Ash then took off his cap and replaced it with a Samurai's helmet, with Pikachu then wearing a smaller one.

Ash: To get your western butts out of our country!

Me: That does it, Ash! Your going down!

Got out rifle and shot Ash and Pikachu in the forehead. Afterwards, I looked down on their lifeless bodys and breathed a deep sigh.

Me: You were once a great trainer one time!

R.I.P.

Yeah, I used to love the bonding adventures between Ash and Pikachu. There used to be some new adventure with every episode that went along his adventure. Like when he met Pikachu and how they became friends when their lives were on the line, or when they had to cross the Bike bridge to get a sick Shelder some medicine. All the while finding new ways for to better understand the relationship between the trainer and his team. Now its all about the techniques and the stats of a pokemon and their type. Its old really fast. Hell I remember that one time I cried when Ash believed that leaving Pikachu with a herd of his own species, only to have them reunited and make them even closer. What happened to those touching moments and subtle humor?

Satoshi (The creator) killed it and recycled it to some disgusting recipe for the new generation, just like what happened with 'Thomas the tank engine' and 'Rugrats.'

I kinda liked the old artwork too. The old one may have looked a little grainy for its art, but I like it alot more than the new version where it felt like it was made in a short period of time.

I thought 4Kids entertainment did a good job of at least providing decent voice actors for it though.

I prefer Digimon more than Pokemon, because even though they start over, they still keep their charm.

Pokemon badly needs to do something besides turn based combat. That would save them i think. (And not the kids and teaching games they do i mean)

Surely Ash would've won a Pokemon League by now, this is getting stupid, and don't even think about saying that he'd won the Orange League, because that's not a proper Pokemon League that you find in any of the games.

@Xivk: They could try to make a turn based tactics system. Six on six and have all their pokemon duke it out till the end. It worked for Final Fantasy.

And yeah Rikardo, I never recognize the Orange league either since I only thought of it as a slight spinoff before he finally went to the johto region. Its not in any of the games, so why should we care?

They did it with other games like Blue Dragon, Inuyasha, Bleach, and a couple other games and anime I can't think of.

I still say the idea of a pokemon mmo where you can actually walk about the lands and cities, summon pokemon to fight n control those pokemon running them around dodgeing attacks and attacking back.

They did it on a mod for warcraft 3. >_>

Mmm, that might not be too bad of an idea, but at times, you have to consider whether or not the MMO would remain true to the qualities that makes the game so fun.

The company woudn't listen to your ideas, even when you send them letters, like for Capcom to make Megaman. I know, I tried before, and they only replied by saying: 'We can't accept ideas from outside our office!'

They have all the requirements of a good mmo though.

Large land scape to travel, cities, land marks, factions, skills, quests ideas (of course), customization opportunity, plenty of pokemon they could choose from, water base or air base travel, big fights, arena. They just need to get off the dam hand held.

But the best part is that they 'listen' to their fans like Sonic, rather than Pokemon that just takes no notace of them.

Sonic still does'nt live up to its past generation series. The 3D aspect really killed it.
