This thread is to pay homage to some of the most frightening and terrifying anime to date. Until now, there has been a plethora of anime of many varieties, but for now, we focus on the ones that terrified us to our very core. The kind of terror that can leave one with nightmares and restless nights of insomnia. Every haunting vision, every single drop of blood that spatters scene after scene in one of these works of art not only haunts one's mind, but rends our senses till we can believe that what is happening may become real.
What inspired me to make this thread? I watched a fairly new anime recently that simply left my heart pumping through every second I watched it. I only watched the first episode, and although I'm very familiar with the genre on many levels; books, visual novels, video games, and even fanfictions, nothing prepared me for what I saw.

There is fan service in this show I guess to put some humor in it during the serious moments. I'm only on the 4th episode out of 12.

Well Rune, there is no need to fathom. At first, the anime honestly had me gripping the closest thing to a blunt weapon in my hands the very first time I saw it. After seeing it a while however and mostly focusing on the Half-assed comedy that still pack their punch, I realized it turned into a horror comedy based Anime.
......If that didn't make my point, then try watching the first episode by the beginning again, right when the girl is knocked flat on her ass by a zombie and INSTEAD of simply falling atop her and doing what zombies do best, the damned thing acts all pedoish when she has her skirt up, gets on all fours and charges towards her like it plans on 'eating' her out.
You can totally guess the rest.

...you really shouldn't be watching anime on YouTube. That... kinda steals money from the people who made the show.
It is akin to one of us posting PBB artwork that isn't open for release for others to look at.
Anyway, other horror anime that you might enjoy would be stuff like:
Vampire Princess Miyu OVA
Vampire Princess Miyu TV Series
Requiem from the Darkness
3x3 Eyes... thought this might also be just considered an occult/supernatural series too.)) |

I mostly watch the free anime that the company putted on youtube for free
Like DevilMayCry, Biker Mice, and Sekirei.

Oh its not stealing when I do . I usually only watch anime just to see if I like them. If I do, I usually go out and buy it either at Best Buy or an official online vendor and purchase it. I have like a whole library of anime here in my room.

dead rising- NO
resident evil- maybe... if capcom is behind it
L4D- maybe cause valve is a genius when it comes to stories to games that shouldnt have one.

Hahaha. A castlevania movie would be too epic for mere mortal actors to handle, what with all the impossible things those vampire hunters pull off.
