I just heard of this anime,
and first time I saw it i was like...

This is a pervy version of digimon or pokemon almost XD

I mean a "owner"/"Master" with a hot female with powers.

I was watching this on youtube and took a break from it for a few weeks. When I returned I found the episodes had been "privatised" so that only people with permission to watch it could of so. What a crock of shit!


I do plan, however, on maybe getting the anime on DVD.

I'm ok with Echi, I'm just not into that particular anime. Stories like Love Hina, the Familiar of Zero, and even Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple all have perverted fan service stuff in it, but its situational. Sekirei is alot of fan service themes.

Ecchi means 'naughty' in Japan. Yes in alot of anime there are 'ecchi' themes, but its stronger in some anime in comparison to others.

As a head's up, 'Fan Service' doesn't have to mean just tight bikinis, lingere, skimpy outfits, tight bodices, heaving breasts, and cleveage... thought it usually means those things. Also, 'Fan Service' usually doesn't involve nudity at all. It's more of a... severe hinting at nudity. Like a burlesque show, or a set of pin-ups from Dita von Tesse or that Oliva would paint. Oddly, a lot of the ideas of 'Fan Service' came up as clever ways to get around the old censorship laws that had been established.

Anyway, a good way to equate 'Fan Service' is a "sploitation" way. Obnoxious explosions, gratuitous use of kung-fu-action-grip, Combat-Action Robots, John Wu style shoot outs, more bullets being used than in all of "Hard Boiled" are also ideas of Fan Service.

Anyway, looks like your show is more akin to a fighting-girl genre... similar to Variable Geo, Corpse Princess, Rosen Maiden, or Tournament of the Gods.))
