I have never even heard of so much gore before. Still, the art behind it can't be questioned. I can't believe how gruesome this film is.

I know, and the worst part is, is that it was made in Germany!

If it was made by Disney, it would'nt even have half the ammount of blood and organs. It would have had a blocked out view covered by the characters or beyond the horizon of the killed character, but not like this.

Holy shit. What the fuck. This is hardcore shit. Why does these cats have to be this much of us hardcore human stuff. This is no ordinary cat movie, it's a world of cats in German underground style. Good story, but kids would find this as they would never want a cat ever again.

I have a copy of this film on VHS from a friend, I lost contact with him and I believe he has since passed away. It is a copy of the Australian release. I could not believe the violence in this film, it never received a British release. My partner and I watched it and both of us were very disturbed by it. We have since adopted two lovely cats and nether of us can watch that film again. Not without thinking it could happen to our cats.

The film is base on a book published about twenty years ago, though I have never read it. The cover is black with a cat's face on it, it took a while for me to realize that the cat's eyes were "Human" ie round, not oval pupils.

We are grey. We stand between the star and the candle.
