I only ever use Photoshop - and only a small subset of functions. Less is more  Plus Snagit is a must have for screenshots - makes documentation a lot easier. And Visio for drawing flowcharts etc. also for documentation.
I used to use Picture Publisher 10 before I had Photoshop. There are some tools on that which I still use occasionally eg the animated gif editor.
Must get a full version of Photoshop. There are some really useful things they left out of Elements 3.0 |

Always Photoshop 7 And Thumbs Plus for batch work
