Accepting the status quo stagnates the world. Reinforcing the status quo encourages others to stagnate.
Thus, it's better to encourage positive actions, specifically because they are not the norm, than to be negative and use the norm as justification.
As for gamer girls, what's the difference?

OK, basic explanation. The character I created years ago, called Silvador, had the title 'Lord'. I don't like using that part of the name on the net because I don't like the way it makes me sound arrogant and up myself. But when I put 'Silvador' in as my GT, it came back and told me it was taken.
