Its just another model. But considering how long the 360 is around, I would'nt want to buy something else, just to find that the model would be replaced by a newer one.

Not too sure on it, friend wa explaining all the details about it and so far I was thinking it could make the regular and elite xbox's obsolete being smaller, alot of memory, wifi access, more usb ports, and ventilated.
But another friend said it has some problem if you move the console while a disc is running it will scratch the ell out of it. (why you would move it with a disc running though I dont know)

Seems there were reports or oveheating (again :/) and scratching discs, yes...
Will they even learn the lesson to not mess with quality requirements? |

From what I have seen in the past few years with the modern era of game councils is that they are trying to become more and more like PC's. That is why I play both PC and 360 games so I can get the style of both.

Actually with a 100/130 dollar trade in value on the one i have, I'm seriously considering going for the newest model.

I may have a 360 Elite but even I'm jealous of the new model coming out, I also heard that people that went to E3 got one.

after a while yeah, but the one i've got doesn't read game discs, so it does actually make sense for me if i can get the rest of the money before the 18th of next month.

Cool news. If you trade in now, the full value for the bonus gets awarded ^^ I'm doing good. gotr an edge card, and even after the refurb fee, I've still got 80 bucks towards a new system

I now have Xbox!!! getting live set up is proving to be a bit of a pain atm, but I'm getting there.

Well got the slim finally and can say it looks good, works, faster than me last one, internal wifi isnt bad, and is touch sensitive.
Only thing to warn though is I wouldnt play too long on it, does get abit hot.

yep, touch sensitivity is a bit annoying to me, but it's cool. as for the heat, just keep it someplace where the air can circulate.

It actually surprised me when I went to turned it on and it went green before I even pushed on the button. lol
