Wanna know what grinds my gears?!?

The word emo!

did you know psychologists determined that cutting is a girls mental disease and yet "boys" around the world use "im emo" as an excuse to cut them self emo is short for emotional...if they would learn how to keep a diary and talk to someone for a change there wouldn't be and entire FAD named after a bunch of non showering, cutting, mopey boys!!

and boys didn't used to do that C*** when their fathers told them to walk it off and rub some dirt on it they'd be fine and when their dads used to give them something to cry about

i have a cousin that used the Emo BS as an excuse to kill himself ...suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem which is another thing that grinds my gears but that's another post for later

sorry figured this was a safe place to vent

In your defense, Caroline, normal is not that great. It's a concept tossed around a lot, but in regards to people, it rarely sticks.

There is no such thing as normal it boils down two to catogories of people .
When the shits about to hit the fan(aka DRAMA)
1. The majority will stand still and let it happe
2. The few will just simply step to the side of the fan
your either one or the other there is no such thing as normal everyones a little bit crazy some more then others but still a true statement.

Seeing as it's been a while, I think I shall dust off this topic and speak of something that's been bugging me for a while:

Plastic Surgery Nutcases!

I speak of course those that fret so much of their appearance they are willing to pay any price to maintain or improve it. The way they act says this to me:

"I don't like the way I look! But you know, rather than work on making people like me for my personality and other good traits, I'll pay someone to carve a hot knife through my flesh to help me look like the people in the movin' pictures!" (Little bit of Patton Oswald for you Smile )

The worst thing is that sometimes they take it way too far! Some of these people look like something in either a cartoon or a horror show! It's ridiculous! The things they do to themselves cost up to thousands of dollars they could have used for helping others!

But don't think I am ranting at every person that gets plastic surgery. I support the surgery if it truly helps you survive (IE Facial repairs to help you eat normally and not drink food through a straw). I just get upset at people who get the surgeries for just one or two minor flaws! Learn to live with them and have people like you for other reasons, damn it!

Leaf, that reminds me of this story that I read a while back, about a girl getting plastic surgery to look like Jessica Alba to try and get back her ex.

Just when I thought I couldn't find something that annoyed me, life gives me another opportunity to rant.

You know what grinds my gears?

Old People Driving!

It's a never-ending headache whenever I am behind an old driver. By this, I mean someone who needs glasses with lenses the size of hubcaps to read and was old enough to remember World War 1.

These drivers are SO BLASTED SLOW! They go at least 25 miles below the speed limit, slowing down the flow of traffic to a crawl and ticking off all the other drivers behind them. Not only that, but it's as though they can't even see where they are going. Heck, some of them even drive on the wrong side of the road! This kind of nonsense can hurt someone!

All I am saying is that there should be a test to determine if you can drive and with any objects to help you, such as specialized sideview mirrors. If there is too much to fix, you can't get the license.

I'm telling you all, I do NOT plan to be that driver. As soon as I'm an old man I'm hanging up my keys for good and having someone drive me around. That way, I won't annoy people or potentially cause injury to others! I'm not going to hold up traffic just because I'm trying to find my pharmacy for picking up my medication!

I hate just about everyone who drives, regardless of age. Anymore it seems that so long as you come out in front, who cares how many traffic law you violated? I would prefer not to count how many times I have nearly been killed by some fucking dumb ass retard who was in such a hurry he has to go at least 30 miles over the speed limit. The old people in my neck of the woods can't see either, but they'd rather run you over than stop their car. The thing that really gets me are the people who feel the need to go above 30 miles per hour in crowded parking lots. The best are the assholes that need to get to 60 in the 30 feet before the stop sign. Think that's cool, you dumb ass fuck? How "cool" will that shit be when you put a pedestrian in the hospital you sick little fuck.

ugh god I hate drivers in my city. They couldnt care less who they may hurt. It took one driver going 20+ over the speed limit through a red light to send me to the hospital.

Two Words...

JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!

This @#$%in' kid is so media friendly, parent approved and conformist that it makes me physically ill!!! His fans are vapid, shallow, unimaginative and delusional to the point of horror!! Do these idiots NOT realize what the entertainment industry is going to do to this poor kid??

VERY FEW if ANY child stars have navigated the minefield that is celebrity without ending up a @#$%in' drug addled MESS!!!

These people who love him so @#$%in' much in TWO years will have completely forgotten about him!! Once puberty has it's way with him, he'll be just another creepy kid with acne and no future!!

I find it REPREHENSIBLE that the industry would stoop so LOW as to scrape this kid off YouTube just to make a little money for themselves, meanwhile damning him to a hideous fate.

If you don't believe me, answer this... How many American Idol winners are still in the news being loved by their fans today??

Think about it, won't you?

medical interns.

after my accident, i was put in the hospital. when i came to there were 4 interns running around trying to get things done. i tried to tell them i was awake, then one of them wanted to do cpr on me!!! what?! why the hell would you give cpr to someone that is wide awake. they kept acting as if i was still in a coma, but at the same time answering my questions.

and i also cant stand people that use the word guesstimate. ewwwww

...

...

...

*deep breath*

IMMIGRATION BULLSHIT!!!

When these piss pants politicians and their buck-toothed supporters are screaming out of their pie-holes about illegal immigrants, do you know what they really WANT to say??

ALL IMMIGRANTS!! That's right, they hate 'em ALL!! Foreigners of all kinds, anybody who doesn't walk like them, talk like them and look/pray like them they hate! They just don't have the balls to say it!! This kind of one-sided, low frequency, BIGOTED bullshit should NOT become standard!!

Weak willed, frightened, ignorant, back water jack offs should NOT have the right to force those of us with some dignity to cow-tow to their pussified agendas. Frankly, I'm offended that so many people are buying into this...

Blaming foreigners for all the country's woes is EXACTLY what Germany did when the NAZI party rose to power!! Read your fukkin' history books!!
Don't make all of us into hypocrits!!

Just because you lack the fortitude to deal with someone with a different skin color than you, doesn't mean you can urinate all over the constitution to hide your cowardice!! Grow some BALLS!!!

well said. thats like most americans people see on tv. but they dont see all of us though. the media will show that same individual being a retarded racist prick, and it makes the rest of the world think of america as that one person. if you saw my videos on youtube you would see that not everyone falls into a stereotype of what the rest of the media shows you.

the news will show black people on it, but only if they commited a crime. so of course people are gonna think that all black people are criminals.

and america was founded by immigrants for anyone that cares to know that. so was japan, and south africa, and mexico, and theres a bunch more

You know what grinds my gears? Generation "ME"

While I know there is a certain level of greed within us all, generation "me" are people who take it a step above. They are completely oblivious to anything around them and are usually the workers in customer service positions that seem to get angry at customers because now these spoiled kids have to actually do something to earn a paycheck.

The question is really more or less should we hate the result or the cause? What is the cause? For those who were painfully unaware, the cause are those parents who think buying Timmy a new toy so he shuts his mouth instead of taking the time and patience needed to teach him the world doesn't revolve around what he wants are to blame. Too many kids got bought off by their parents into compliance and basically learned, "if I want something, I don't really have to do anything to get it." and come up with this false sense of entitlement.

You know what really grinds my gears? "No Family Members of Current Employees" company policies. Case and point, the one summer job I'd really go for, I won't get because I'm married to their best employee (If they had an employee of the month, it'd probably always be my wife). Anyways, at one point, I had applied, along with a brother of one of the other employees, and a shitload of young adults. Best candidates for the job: The ones with a relative already employed. Who gets hired: one of the young adults. Who do they regret hiring: one of the young adults. Since my initial application, they have seen at least a half dozen employees all pretty much filling the same position as time after time, the same people fail to work out.

They KNOW, and I mean outright KNOW, that they have people who could actually get further along than these lazy, unmotivated, retarded young kids who pay more attention to their cell phones than their actual instructions. I understand if it's "company policy" to avoid hiring family members but goddamn, you'd think at some point a lightbulb would go off and you would say "I'd rather break the rules than keep scraping the bottom of the barrel for employees."

At this point, I can only really try to get a job for the time while school's out and by the time next summer rolls around, I'll probably be deciding whether to continue on at another school or get started on my career. It just pisses me off that they'd rather keep going through these lazy, unmotivated wastes of space than break the rules. It actually isn't even against the rules, it's just "frowned upon" whatever, fucking hire the best person for the damn job, so long as they have a legal right to work.

My Problem...

Democrats VS. Republicans...

Conservatives VS. Liberals...

So-called adults, most of which are educated and have jobs apparently, going back and forth in the game of "I know what's best". These ASSHOLES are constantly seeking to do things that benefit themselves and no one else. They aren't looking out for Americans, they're looking out for number 1. Selfish sensationalism and propaganda is no substitute for reasonable answers.

They don't have answers to the oil leak, they don't have answers for our wounded economy and they don't have answers for ANYTHING. Groups of people, most of which are HIGHLY paid, wasting time pulling their pricks while the country weakens.

They can all go fuck themselves.
