I likes 12 a ton. 13 is just repeating the same thing over and over.
10.....bored me the instant I fought Seymour the fourth time (Yes, you fight him 4 frigging times). By then I had a perfect game with everything. The only challenge I truly thought to be worth it, was the full Grid completion (As in, having ALL characters complete the WHOLE grid.), something that is nigh on impossible, even for veterans of the game.
FF9 was well made, having a good story and plenty of sidequests, but I didn't like it as much as FF7. FF9 did manage to look a lot like FF7 though, so it earned a spot in my game cabinet.
Now, I have a question here for all. Which of all the bosses of the entire FF universe should be deemed worthy of being called "The best FF boss of all time."? _________________ http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=238903#238903- Wolf & Grimm!

Sephiroth wasn't that bad-ass really. my choices would be
Kefka- Every villain tries to destroy the world, he actually did it! plus he's insane like Joker!
Golbez- I just love the sheer wtf factor i felt when i first found out he was Cecil's brother.
Garland- Sure not much there, but he is the Classic FF villain
Kuja- May seem a little on the queer side, but it was nice to have villain with a semi-rational reason for wanting to destroy everything. and who you could actually feel for in a way. _________________ My Fursona(updates occasionally) http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7537

I loved FF1,4,6,7,9 AND TACTIC. To me FF12 was really empty for a final fantasy. Few character development and it end when you begin to think that you enter in the story. FF8 was not bad but the drawing system was tedious. FF10 didn't really entertained me.
En général, j'aime bien cette série.

((You know... for all the Final Fantasies I've played, the only boss I really remember is Garland. So... that, to me, speaks of his timelessness.
Now, a boss I really remember is SHODAN. There was a boss.)) |

Talk of FF bosses, surprise no one mentions the omega weapon.
Sure the thing doesnt do much or have anything to do in the stories but does put up the best fight if you thought the game was getting too easy and he kills ya in one shot soon as match starts. _________________ Fursona Info.

Hmm....Guess I might throw in my opinions.
Garland: Not the greatest Boss of all. His story behind FF1 isn't really one truly worth noting if you ask me (Knight gone rogue who kidnaps a princess, then unexpectedly becomes the emdiment of Chaos itself). Not really worth noting in my opinion, but he started it all off for future bosses to come.
Emperor: Just another nutjob who wants to take over the planet. All around, he isn't really a villain, but the one thing that earned him a spot of fame was that he represented the factor of human greed. That alone proved to be enough as a villainin him.
Cloud of Darkness: Not an actual villain, just more of all of the hatred/evil/opposite of humanity there, all wrapped up into a female to show the evil in face of light. Still, she proved to be a fierce opponent.
Golbez: Now THIS is a villain worth mentioning. Yeah, at first, he is a total ass and is hell bent on screwing you all over, but nearing the end, you see his softer side on how he sees everything, not to mention he is honorable to boot. A great villain, all around.
Exdeath: ...a joke. Exdeath is purely a joke. He may have a mind and resources to screw you over, but it didn't really matter. Out of all billains, this one would be one of the worst, if not, THE worst of all FF bosses.
Kefka: Holy crap! This guy is creepy, no matter how you look at it. At the start, he looks like no more than the average jackass, but this guy can make you look at past and future FF bosses like mere jokes. He earns a permanent title as one very nasty boss.
Sephiroth: He makes no sense. He is but another human with a god complex (Much like our emo hero, Cloud). THE most overrated, overused, obscure boss yet. Sure, a 7 foot katana looks menacing and all and videogame standards more than allow he's supposed lightning quick attacks and abilities, but the only thing he has going for him was that he uses everything in his path to attain that which he wants (Including once our emo hero, Cloud). He is famous and strong, I'll give him that, but besides that, just another reassured lunatic and no more.
Ultimecia: If there was any FF boss a bitch, then this one is it. Not only can she control time, but she was one of those bosses who had everything planned out from the beginning and had anticipated what was to happen from the start ( and yes, it may have been due to the fact that she cheated, her being able to control time at will and see what can, could, will and shall happen). A boss worthy of her title.
Kuja: Never been too fond of this kind of boss. He was just there for the ride at first, but one quality that he has, is that he just can't stand there being someone better than him and he will not be afraid to stand at any level to surpass them. A user, a queer ( No insult, but he IS an insult to all queers everywhere), a douschebag ( Can't stop yammering, blah, blah, blah...) and finally a strategist, the one thing he had going for him. Still, he isn't one to be taken lightly.
Jecht: Not a real boss per say, yet he has the look and mentality of one ( He turns into acreature about half the size of the United States and kills an entire army, just to see his son. Damm!!), so he isn't one to be triffled with easily. But, he shouldn't have been the big boss, if you ask me.
Those are just FFI to X, in their respective order. Now, unto the sub bosses worth mentioning.
FFI Tiamat: He isn't much, but sure to put up a fight.
FF2: Captain Borghen: He was a real dick and that is what unnerves you about him. I mean, you just gave him a royal ass kicking, but he still isn't through with you! He had rigged a trap to screw you over with, plus he comes back as a zombie even!!! (The GBA version and any others that included the Soul of Rebirth special mode)
FF4 Rubicante: Honorable bastard. Sure, he is tasked with the job of killing you, but he heals you before you fight him, feels sorry for the ninjas parents and expects you to give him your best shot, right after he tells you his weakness! He should have appeared more often in the FF series.
FF5 (and multiple others) Gilgamesh: What the hell is he? Funny, stupid, can put up a good fight and even aids you in FF8. Not only does he appear in multiple of the FF series, but everytime you see him, you can't help but laugh (Him and his famous Excalipoor).
FF7's Turks: Bunch of funny misfits in tuxedos. You can always expect a beating from them, yet you can't help but laugh at their squabbling friendships (Especially Reno and Rude).
FF8 Seifer: He is persistent. VERY persistent, and that even earned him and his gang a spot in Kingdom Hearts 2. That and he even wields the same type of weapon as the one of our main hero.
FF9 Beatrix: She was made to kick your ass through and through. She even fights alongside you at a certain point, but those who played the game know how irritating it was for her to kill your party members as she pleases at any instant she wants.
FF10 Seymour: WHY wasn't he the final boss? Stupid, power hungry, no real consciousness and wants the finer things in life (Become Sin and marry Yuna), HE should have been the last boss. Todus is truly in for the ride in this game, not really knowing what the hell he is doing there (Except knowing that he should be dead, that his father is out to destroy the world and pregnate Yuna......a joke for those who got to see the ending. >_<)
Multiple FF's Ultima Weapon: He puts up a fight and is tough enough to wipe out members on the first turn. He even had a main role in FF8, but.......he could never get out of his predescesor's shadow.
Multiple FF's Omega Weapon: The name alone tells it out. He is THE final weapon, made to be much, much stronger than the last boss and always known to mean fear. The day is yet to arrive that they appoint him a true role as a last boss in FF, but each of his appearance's make the game he appears in worth it. He even has a counterpart known as simply Omega, where many fans have debated that he isn't the same, but no more than a close resemblance.
Multiple FF's Deathgaze: The name alone says it all. He was created for one purpose and one purpose only and that was to piss people off. Sheer numbers of Health, the alwaus annoying and painful Death spell and multiple others to boot, he was created to make your life a nightmare when you came across him.
FF Shinryu: A wyrm, that can withstand anything you throw at him. He was made as a boss to best all bosses so he stands at the seat of
power with Omega Weapon itself. One of the best ways to prove his worth was in the FFI GBA version, where you could have fought him and could have easily spent an entire hour on him, doing little to almost no damage as he didn't even need to use any great attacks to kill your party.
And that be the end of it.......for now.[/b] _________________ http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=238903#238903- Wolf & Grimm!

Xvik, trick question mate. There are quite a few with that connection, so I will name two of them, besides the spin offs of the FF7 episode.
FF9= When you crash in the Evil Forest, the band inside is playing out the Rufus Shinra theme.
FF10-X2= The kid Shinra has plans and ideas for his new company he wants to start out when everything is over. _________________ http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=238903#238903- Wolf & Grimm!

There is another part on 9... when you look at the Buster sword on the wall of the weponds store of whats her names uncle rules over, they breafly talk about Cloud. Bad with names. _________________ yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. that's why it is called the present.
