S'up everyone. I'm back from my two week training. Let me tell you something its not fun getting tasered, longest most painful 5 seconds of my life. Yet, I would rather be tasered again then Pepper Sprayed. That was really uncomfortable and it took three day's for my eye's to get better. If I see a cop pointing pepper spray at me for what ever reason I'm going to be down on the ground so freaking fast that it'll leave an imprint.

((He was at anti-pansy training, May. The rest of the two weeks was covered with drinling whiskey by the gallon, watching monster truck rallies, and wrastling bears.))

With pepper spray and being tased, I would assume a form of MP training or something similar. Part of the training for positions that use tasers and pepper spray is exposure, so you know exactly what you're doing to people when you use them. Also, depending on the intensity of training, you may even be required to pass certain functionality tests following the exposure (i.e. fighting someone off while blind).

You are right on Shadow. Once we got sprayed we had to go through 5 stations before heading to the wash area. Let me tell you pepper spray sucks.

I know what you mean with the pepperspraying part. It felt like the burning would never stop. Fortunately after being exposed to it after about 2 years, it was less excruciating. Granted, even then it still felt like needles were prodding my eyes.

I'm not ashamed to say I was crying like a baby after that experience. It took me a lot longer to recover compared to most others. One of the problems I have is a sweat a lot. Pepper spray reactivate when its wet. So every time I thought I was good my eyes would start hurting again due to me sweating.

When my dad was in the army he had to do stuff like, he actually has a scar on his arm from when they had to test Mustard Gas on him by putting a little bit on his arm and it burned him. Theirs also a old war movie we where watching where a group of men where casually walking through a room of Gas, My dad said that they would be on the ground not bing able to see, and after they stayed in the room long enough they had to make there way to water fountains to wash there eyes out.

i remember in basic how we had to sit through the CS gas. if you dont know what CS gas, it's a very potent form of tear gas. and when i was trying to get out of the gas chamber, my drill's made us take off our masks and answer a few questions. i tried to be smart by holding my breath, which in turn made it worse for me. and yes i did cry and vomit lol

-winces- You were luck you did'nt have your eyes open when it did get sprayed. I was waiting to get mine for the first time to have it sprayed onto my face. when I felt a few seconds hesitation, I openned it only to get it on my eyes. I swear those 3 hours were the worst. I was bawling my face off when it was'nt being dunked into the water. It was so hard trying to keep my eyes open even for half a second.
