Hahahahaha. Oh thats a great question to ask. personally, I love all 2000+ of the VG music songs that I got. But, if I had to name a single album, I'd have to go with...... Kingdom Hearts II. But thats a close call with Final Fantasy 9.

Way too many to list, but I'll cover some of the main ones for my personal favourites;
Almost ANYTHING from any Metroid game, for startes.
A lot of music from the Half-Life series, too, although Episode 2's "Vortal Combat" theme is the best if you ask me. Incidentally, Episode 2 is a big sorce for great music in the Half-Life series so far...
Not forgetting the absolutely sublime sound-track to Megaman 9, too. Especially the themes for Wily Castle 1 and 2, but pretty much everything else in that game is pure gold, too.
Oh, and there's some wonderful pieces to Okami, as well. Especially this. |

Pretty much all of the background music from the Super Mario Galaxy. To me it's so beautiful, especially with some songs with the orchestra. That and the background music to Rosalina's storybook. It made me cry  ... Come on, really good music can do that to you. *Is jealous of people in Japan who owns the soundtrack to the game  * |

i also really like the music from the sonic games. THE ONES FOR GENESIS!!! sonic 1, 2, and 3 had the best music out of all the sonic games
