((...okay, so I just finished Persona 3, and after all the late-development of Aegis, who I was actually starting to like, they just... end? That's the ending? What in the world? So... does FES continue the story? If I've played P3, can I just continue with FES, or do I have to do the entire game... again?
Sorry for the lame rant. I've been hermiting the last several days, and getting other stuff "done".)) |

Think of Persona 3: FES as the uncut version of Persona 3. It has an expanded version of the original Persona 3 (more dialog options, more Personas, more items and equipment, more Elizibeth's Requests, etc. and an infuriatingly hard optional level in Tartarus, things like that) and it has the sequel game to the main story. It's short but worth playing through at least once. Oh, and something that confused me. When you go to play Persona 3: FES, you're given the option of choosing "The Journey" or "The Answer". "The Journey" is the expanded version of the game and "The Answer" is the short sequel. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Persona 4 uses the same play mechanics (expanded) from 3, but none of the characters from the previous games appear. You now have the option of dating a girl or just "being friends" and their are no "reversing" of friendships.
It improves on the previous game without sacrificing any of the good stuff. Suffice it to say, I love the series. _________________ "One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster.

Untrue on two counts. One, you get to visit Gekkoukan and meet Mr. Ioda, the school nurse, and Chihiro, the Justice Arcana from Persona 3 (the shy treasurer girl with glasses and long hair you meet in the Student Council) in Persona 4. Two, there are reversing of friendships in Persona 4, but they're not nearly as easy to stumble across as they are in Persona 3. _________________ Silentium est aurum |
