Jim Carrey is with dab in "Yes Man" where his down-on-his-destiny nature Carl gets a particle of optimism and is empowered to verbatim say "Yes" to any and all offers or requests. Of by all means, jocose hijinks ensue, but the machination meanders somewhat a bit, and the pitfalls and advantages of being a "Yes Man" are illustrated with knee-breeches segments loosely tied together by a opportunity tryst between Carl and a at liberty sprightly miss, Alison, and their remote but blossoming romance.
I liked the chemistry between Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel, granted the supporting mould is charming customary, with trivial to do but be plan devices for Carl's "Yes Man" adventures. There are some reliable laughs, only not big ones (in fine, possibly there is at least one, but it's best that you see it, than for me to corruption it, I believe). So, total a carefully customary comedy, but it makes for a airy matinee viewing if you're bored in the holidays.
I relinquish it 2.5 stars, or a declivity of C+.

He seemed to hit his peek a long time ago. I'm not sure which movie it was, but it does seem like he's losing his touch with his comedy. He was on fire in the 90s. I still can't forget that SNL skit with Will Farrell and that other guy for the "Night at the Roxbury". Laughing Laughing Laughing
