Heroes S3 - Let's discuss [SPOILERS]

Ok I just watched episode 1 and I can't say I really liked it.
Nathan, Mohinder and Hiro were pathetic... Shocked

The first one with the holy mistyc crisis, the second with stupid dialogues about giving superpowers to all mankind, extracting the "superpowers serum" with a syringe, a microscope and few other things... looking like a mad scientist with no ethics at all.
But I am disappointed by Hiro, the most. We loved him because he was a cubicle man, hardly fitting in his own life and now we found a poor stupid daddy boy, bored billionaire whining "but I want to play superhero!!!"... and creating a mess.
If the scriptwriters think they can rely on Sylar to make us love this series, they should think again.
A cool supervillain is boring if the heroes are boring.
Boring like Peter and Nikki, always playing the same parts, always so predictable... dunno.
I hope the next episodes will make me change my point of view, I really hope so... Surprised

Yes. I was like - disappointed too.

It's very cheesy right now. Nobody really dies in this show because "fans" happen to LOVE the characters...

So they keep the actors 'on board' and make up stupid scenarios to revive them. Too many plot holes.

Sylar comes back, Claire never can die, Adam comes back, Linderman comes back, Nathan gets shot and comes back TWICE. Mr Bennett comes back, etc, etc... Kill off Mohinder already for god sakes. He's utterly useless and annoying. But no. We have to make him more interesting now, so let's give him powers.

Nikki probably died, but let's make Sanders chick look like her. Yay.

The fact claire can't die totally negates season 1. Save the cheerleader save the world. She doesn't need saving. She can never die! Sylar ends up getting her powers ANYWAYS. Time travel usually is lame. Anytime you add in time travel it creates plot holes galore.

Show just has too many plot holes now. Peter is too powerful but most of the time stupid. Why does he even bother asking questions and not get answers? He should just ask a question and read their mind.

Stupid plot. Story is getting very sloppy.

So we now have typical TV show plot devices like...

"Luke. I'm your father. You are my long lost son."
"Sylar. I'm your mother. You are my long lost son."

"Together we can rule the world/empire/galaxy."

The show is really retarded. Let's reset timeline, and mix match combinations of the characters interacting with each other.

We'll probably eventually have love triangles and such. Who is Nikki gonna fuck next? Let's give Claire's mom super powers next with this secret formula that was hidden in the fish tank all this time.

Claire, if I die, don't forget to come and give me your blood. Retarded why the Bennett guy doesn't take Claire along with him. He should be using her as a meat shield against the bad guys. She can never die!!!

Sorry for the HEROES bashing. I used to like the show alot but I can see this season is going to be full of lame plot holes.

And btw- They're bringing back Hiro's girlfriend from Japan. Apparently she is immortal too? Or found some magical fountain of youth from Shangri-La ? The pool of eternal life! LOL.

actually if you would please indulge me, i have quite a lot of experience in looking at all the details as a story progresses, think back to season one, yes save the cheerleader save the world.

please think back to what they had said in the future when hiro "accidently* took ando there. they were told, or rather shown that sylar was the one who had blown up new york, or so they had to beleive. yes sylar did have claires abilities and yes he did take them like all the others.

how thn, would you explain how she was in hiding somewhere with her father covering it up if her powers had been taken by sylar? easy, because just as he was doing whatever the hell he does, her powers were still fuctional and healing her as he was taking her powers. thus while he thought he had killed claire, sylar had mistakenly left her alive.

thus the point to why in season two calaire finds that she can heal any part of her boby, whether it was cut off or not. remember her body heals super fast, thus causing death to be difficult.

as for the rest of your concerns, i will review both seasons, for i have both, and get back to you on how they would have kept to the over all story and what they could possibly have to do with progressing the plot.

Actually, hiro went to the future multiple times.

So you're mixing up the timeframes and the sequences.

the point of 'saving the cheerleader' was so that sylar doesn't become invincible- and for peter to go to her to get her powers so he can live.

it was actually PETER that blew up the city. and the future related to hiding claire was "AFTER" the fact that the city blew up ANYWAYS- so that Nathan can be president. So they managed to save the cheerleader which was part 1 of the mission. And part 2 of the mission was to save the world.

So he goes into the future and realized they saved the cheerleader (which claire is in hiding), BUT they know the city is gonna blow up still, so they need to know how.

there was ANOTHER scene in the future that Sylar infact FOUND claire anyways and took her powers, because he was NATHAN (in disguise) remember that? What happened then? claire was dead?

Anyways- They really didn't need to save the cheerleader at all in season 1. It was hyped up. They should have just said - go to the cheerleader and absorb her powers. Or just let sylar get to her. and then go to sylar and absorb all of his powers. Smile

The fact that they have Peter on the show makes the show really bad because he is completely the biggest plot hole ever. Since he can absorb everybody's powers right? Everybody that he stands near. And with so many people apparently are having powers left and right on the show. Over time, way into the future, Peter should be SUPER SUPER powerful. You'd think he'd be smart enough to not mess with time.

i understand what your saying, and after reveiwing those particular episodes, i concede that point, however the whole point of saving the cheerleader, which we find out later, was so that when peter does blow up, it is not in new york, but rather in the air as nathan flew out of the city.

by saving claire, they did indeed sve the world because if nathan had not knoiwn about her, he would not have second guessed his mother and eventually betray her.

I also got disappointed at the end of season 1 with all the power contraddictions... like when Claire doesn't want to shoot Peter.
Nonsense, Peter can heal near Claire, she could have unloaded all the gun on him, what was the problem? XD

plot holes. or character just retard or stupid. like how peter asks adam all the questions in season 2 when he could just mind read.

season 3 opener is just even more retarded. we all know and claire should know that peter has super powers. he absorbs then. no point in trying to shoot him, because he can stop time, he can be like sylar and stop bullets. it was futile!!

you people are driving me so crazy that i should just kill you all and be done with it.

but since i can't..........Ronald the whole point of "save the cheerleader save the world" was not so peter can get her powers, but instead so that when they do save her, it sends events into motion so that instead of nathan following his mothers plot, he saves new york!!!!!!!!!!! how? by flying peter out of the city!!!!!! allbeit i'll admit that peter could have done it himself, however he was frozen uyp, like stage frightr. tyhat and nathan had allways been there for him, why not at the end of everything?

also if clair had shot peter, then she would have fallen right where the company had wanted her. it's a moral choice issue, so leave it be.

and as for sylar and peter mom being the same person, i actually saw that coming. and why peter has tro ask every thing to adam, well prbably because scince he worked with matt's father he had learnd to shield his mind from those types of things. thatsw what i think any way.

the season three opener...........i'm stumped on that one...................

her uncle yes, but bot quite her family, you see? she never really knew him as her uncle so she had a whole new set of things going on for her.

as for your scene with the father daughter thing, i can agree with that one. i wouldn't be surprised if they waited to spring that on us till the end of the season.
