well... its stuck in my head for the nexy 2 hours... i loled but then after about 20 seconds i stopped loling and went to go watch something else... like that printing cat.

not much to tell... was a bouncer and a DJ at a local bar/danceclub. Fun times, but the pay sucked and I moved on... I'd say the DJing part of the job is what really gave me a taste for R&B music, and some hip-hop (though I've always liked at least some rap, ever since I was a kid).

*shakes head and sighs* then you need to reevaluate what music is, because rap is rhythmic prose spoken over musical accompaniment, often with sung chorus. Just because the poet isn't making any real effort to sing doesn't mean it's without musical merit (which, if you actually listened to more rap, you'd realize a lot of rappers actually do create tone and melody, often just by controlled emphasis on certain words in their prose).

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I'm coming down on you... everyone has their opinions. My own tastes in music are eclectic, to say the least (beyond certain segments of noise-metal, "bubblegum" pop music, and polka, I tend to like a little bit of everything).

and no, don't worry about it, i've allready heard that argument dozens of times and even got coerced into listening to a few "songs" so i know what you mean. however that doesn't change the fact that i still don't get the point to it.
