As Martina travels so many different states in the USA it is interesting to have some more basic knowledge as I am not from the USA.

There are huge differences betweeen north & south, west,& west and the interior and so on ...

I fond a very informative link (just click on Play)

The Growth of a Nation

A very nice way to learn some history & geography.
And it does reveal when and why the Mormons live in Utah....

Bonus Question: How many states had the USA when Arizone became an official state (as they have 50 now) ?

Oh guys..

I can see you both have not clicked the link to check. Rolling Eyes

USA has 50 states:
48 contigious
2 noncontigious (Alaska & Hawai which were number 49 and 50)

I am sure most people born in the USA would also know all their names.
I wonder if at school they also teach the year a states becomes a part of the USA

Remains the bonus question:

What was the number of Arizona ?

Just have a guess Smile

Hmm........ darn, can't find it. Yesterday I saw a picture with the 2004 US election results, and it was compared to the states that had slavery or were not against slavery. The states that went to Bush were exactly the states that had slavery or were not against slavery in the past. Weird huh.
