Hi,

went yesterday to a friends house (co-worker too actually). He treated us to a BBQ. He was always bragging about his BBQ skills and special BBQ sauce and stuff. I must say, best freaking BBQ food I have ever eaten! Thumbs up Jeff! (he aint a member though..lol).

He marinaded all the chicken, and the spare ribs dipped in his special BBQ sauce. I am still feeling full, and it has been 15 hours already.

Maybe we can share our best BBQ's here?

Cheers.

Unfortunately the weather has been so bad here that I only have BBQed twice this summer. Crying or Very sad
BBQing with a group of people is always good. I prefer Indonesian saté ajam from a BBQ with coals.

Yum, I love satay ayam (Chicken satay), especially fresh from the grill and with spicy peanut sauce. Tongue Both my mom and dad were born in Indonesia, so mom makes plenty of yummy Indonesian food.

I ate in a chinese/indonesian restaurant when I was in the UK. Pretty good food. A bit different than in Holland. They also had lamb.... which I think I've never seen in Holland at a chinese/indonesian.

omg woot Nasi Goreng is my fav too! One of the few foods which I'd rather have leftovers of rather than almost any other freshly prepared meal. And also one of the few foods which I can cook!

They do speak a little Dutch. I can usually tell when they sprinkle some Dutch in between the Indonesian, but I still couldn't tell you what they were saying! Wink
