I have seen clips of it, and the whole meme has just taken off like the plague. I wish I knew why this piece of modern children's television is popular, considering how bad it seems to be. The best solution I can think of is to ignore it until it goes away, but I literally see it on every freaking sight I go to, heck on Furaffinity there's always pictures of it being submitted. And knowyourmeme has so much shit dedicated to it that I feel like murdering hippopotamuses. At first I thought maybe it was a massive trolling campaign but now I just think it ain't going to go away.

I dont know about the real show, but the ponies personalities and the fake trailers that could be made with clips from that show made it awesome.

Also, I can't speak for the original MLP, but My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic may be initially directed at little girls, but I dare wager that its popularity among the unexpected masses is due to its pure hilarity. Child-directed scripting aside, the show is just plain funny, not to mention cute as hell. Just because a show is directed a little kids does not immediately mean that others with an open mind to a plain old good laugh can't enjoy it. In fact, even the storylines themselves are worth the watch. If you don't get it, so be it. But don't judge it til you try it, and don't dis it til you understand it. (not saying you are) Just think how you feel towards people who say "What do you see in anthropomorphic porn? It's just weird."

Well it's one thing to enjoy a show, it's quite another to flood the internet with a horde of various flashes and games. It's almost like FreeBSD now, "You can't throw a rock at the internet without hitting MLP."
Not to say that there aren't parts that make me laugh, but just why does just about everything need MLP stamped on it anymore?

It's called being popular. Rewind about 20 years to when Star Wars was first released. Granted, it wasn't flooded on the internet. But then again, there was no internet to be flooded by it. But look at everything else. Shirts. Toys. Lunch Boxes. You named it, it had Star Wars stamped on it. Given time the MLP craze will supbside as the Star Wars craze did. If the internet was around (as it is today) when Star Wars was first released, you'd have encountered exactly the same thing.
