((One of the things I always found kinda neat about older cartoons is the fact that many of them had zero talking. They had to portray everything via the musical soundtrack and antics of the characters.

For example, it showed the wolf in the cartoon you posted as being really cold by:

1) Not having a fire in the fire-place
2) Shivering nearly uncontrollably
3) Hands turning blue when put near the ashes of the last fire

*shrug* I dunno why, but I always found that telling stories like that was always kinda neat. I guess that's why I used to enjoy Gumby so much. ))

Well right now, people are obsessed more about the image over the quality of the shows now. Stories seemingly take the backseat these days except in expceptional circumstances.

yeah my fave cartoons where tex avery, mgm,
and warner brothers, even tho some cartoons back then re-use gags and
animations, they're good still to be re-use, that how drawn and good they are.

Old style anime were sometimes best too. Like the old Yu Yu Hakusho was awesome with its art style, voice acting, and even the story was phenomenal.
