As I am still up on a list of potentials for the Four Aces Suite, it would be only fair of me to at least try and remain somewhat active. I've been busy as of late, today is no exception. Weeks have never crept up on me so quickly...
Anyways, I'm helping do some content management for a website of a friend. My wife and I have done volunteer work for her in the past and she's really nice. Problem is she's a little unorganized, so it gets a little chaotic trying to keep it all together with her.
I'm also getting into driving practice. 23 and no license, but I've had circumstances that had made it less possible to drive until recently. At first, my wife and I were not a good mix. She had too high of expectations, and I didn't respond well to her intense criticism. We talked it out and there's already been significant improvement.
I'll try to poke my head in every now and again, but life doesn't stop moving and we can't all find the time to stop and smell the roses. |

Don't worry dude. Even though I'm not that far up the line on the list of candidates, I would still want you to get yours first. Seniority rules over newer members such as myself. _________________

Still alive, guess I was kinda losing patience for awhile, especially when I saw EmperorRevan's WIP. Anyways, I think I'll at least try to make more of an effort to visit and contribute. I might need an rp to anchor me down or something. My driving is coming along fairly well. At this point, I'm convinced I could easily pass the test in an automatic. However, I'm trying to get better on the stick, as that's what I'm going to be driving when I have my license. |

I know how that is. I just got my license a couple months ago and it was not easy. I was only one of five people who passed out of 20 people since she is a very nit-picky kind of person. _________________

almost done, almost done, thank goodness I'm almost done.
For those curious as to what on earth I might be talking about: an explanation.
My web site meeting on Monday was more or less canceled and so a proposal was made by my stepfather that I could help him out for the week and get a $200 payday for it. 2 days of ripping up flooring in a kitchen and 3 days of painting have left me with 1 last task for tomorrow: tiling the kitchen floor.
Hopefully once that is all said and done, I can really get a solid effort going on consistent activity. |

I'm seriously starting to loathe this task, as it just gets longer and longer as he adds more and more to the to-do list. The current project entails painting the cabinets and apparently we still have a lot of ground to cover on removing the remnants of the previous floor. Methinks starting the RP may have been a bit premature... |

Update:
Ok, so I'm still not finished with the renovation, but I don't have too much left to do. I got sick for most of last week. Then, once I was better, pretty much had to do back-to-back days of driver testing. I blame the car I used as to why I failed the first test (hard to see out the rear windshield).
Now, I'm in the last-minute rush for preparations for my classes that start on Monday. Today shall be a great first solo-trip to the campus where all my classes are going to be this semester. I have to do some back-and-forth between some offices for my possible work-study position.
EDIT
Update to the Update:
Classes have started once more, as well as my job as a Work Study. With the structured schedule back into my life and a diminished amount of free time, I should see a bit more of a return to my leisurely web activities. Also, I have finished with my work renovating the house for rent. |
