that's because they cant unfortunately animals have not evolved to that state yet and there is a good reason for that. the reason is because the human race is holding back there evolution because if they where to evolve to there perfect form they would wipe us of the face of the earth and take over

No offence, but I wish you would stop talking about fiction and theory as if it were fact.

there is more to it than man power, and stuff like that we would need some kind of logical energy supply other than nuclear power. we would need to harness the true potential of plasma or something along those lines to even think about prolonged space travel along with creating some kind of warp drive that would allow us to jump through space in a short amount of time, because with the tech we have now it would take someones whole life to make it out of our solar system and we cant have that now can we there would be no one flying the ship at that point and cryochambers are out of the question because what ever you put in it has a shelf life so to speak.

if we want to do this we must do it form the moon.

1 no population of life
2 materials can be found there
3 low graffity so it's easy to go in space
4 if something go wrong the casalties will be low

I hope that we can make a motor of transport to travel to the next solar system is only 2,5 lightyears away.

maybe there are blacktunnles from our system to others

As long as the explosion isn't underground, the moon shouldn't be seriously affected by something like that. Debris would be the only concern, but most of that would probably disintegrate when it hits the atmosphere.

If it is the right size it could send it out of orbit or make it come crashing down.

If that happened, I think I'd probably just laugh.

you know i have been looking at this for awhile and i don't think this could ever happen i mean come on where would we get the supplies to do any of this stuff. and the moon is completely out of the question because we would need to build a launch pad up there along with a launch control center and facilities to house the people up there. in short we need colonies before we think about outer galaxy travel.

I never thought I'd hear myself disagreeing with Mark Twain...yet here I am. But then, just 'cause someone's famous doesn't make their perspective infallible, neh?

When you're talkeing about how the human race interacts with the rest of the world, e.g. the human race in nature, you can't really use wordes like 'corrupt' or 'flawed,' because the concepts of corruption and perfection are facets of 'good' and 'bad,' which don't exist in nature, because they have no relevance. Nature isn't inherently anything; it just IS. And humanity, being a part of nature (as much as some act and others believe otherwise), therefore cannot be corrupt.

Now, this is not to say the human race does not make bloody idiotic decisions. But this is in no way human nature: Humans are animals, after all, and if it is natural for an animal to damage themselves and their ecosystem, then we would see other species doing the same. But we don't, do we? The self-destructive decisions—from my perspective—are borne of the society we are in, which actually promotes greed, dishonesty, and all the other bad things people have been going on about for centuries. Consider: Greed is, at its core, the desire to turn a profit. And in a society built around money—as nigh-on all societies on this planet are—profit is necessary for survival. Can't feed yourself if you don't have money, right?

And just a few tidbits:

> There's nothing inherently wrong with technology; reverting us all backe to the Bronze Age won't make people any more inclined to be nice. =P We don't neede to be rid of tech, but we DO neede to be rid of that which is wasteful and/or damaging to the environment. Clean solutions, unfortunately, keepe getting sabotaged.

> The world is not overpopulated. It is overcentralized.

> I thinke we should be concerned about fixing our own world's and society's problems before we start lookeing for new ones. But I can understand getting into a fantasy; it's whye a lot of us are here, after all. =)

Do you not think that Star Trek is so popular, because it shows a Humanity that has managed to put behind it, its self-destructive, bigoted and arrogant nature and managed to make something unselfless and constructive instead?

Given that it instead shows various forms of sentient life in the same divisive manner that humanity is in currently? No, not really. ^^;

Star Trek is popular because it shows that other races in the galaxy can get along. Sort of. Oh, and when the aliens do visit us. Will they give us gifts?

i don't think that's very likely do to the violent nature of our race they might be scared to give us anything fearing that we might try to use it to hurt each other

The human race will be visited by a alien race when we learn to stop killing our self and live forms how don't have our technology or intelligence.

Or the aliens come her to stop us to explore the stars with our current level of voilence and dislike to other.

Or there will be a star war how will cost billions of lives and no one will know the out come.

i think i know the out come if it turns to war we will win Wink do to the simple fact that we have more experience at killing things that we don't like because if another race came to earth they would not be looking for a war but unfortunately we would give them one no matter what because they are different.
