Well, if you have an ethernet cable and a modem, simply plug the cable between both. Make sure the modem is disconnected from the power source, or you will have problems connecting. Make sure that you have the proper settings on your modem (Most are already preset). Simply turn on your xbox afterwards and you will connect. You'll have to buy the gold membership if you want to play with others, but its 50 bucks that lasts a year.

If you have a wireless router, then you are going to have to get the wireless adapter for that then.

I recently got one of the new Xboxs, they has built in wireless apparently. I has a router/external modem/whatever it's called.

The slim model? Ah, then I am lost, but I think you need to just boot it up then, then have it search for your connection. If it needs a password, put it down and wait for it to update.

Later. You make an account when you boot up the xbox. You'll be prompted to either select a profile on your xbox, or create a new one altogether. From there, simply follow the instructions.

PC: Killing Floor, Crysis
Those are the only multiplayer games I have that I'll play.

To be honest, I don't know what games I have that are multiplayer... but the only ones I have that you have.... are Halo 2 and 3.
Kinda limits the selection, but that's fine.

Still Halo 3 is a multiplayer, not to mention I haven't really played anything but MW2 in a while.

Very similar in controls but with a few differences:
• You can't dual wield
• You have health that has to be restored (much like the first game)
• You don't run 30mph or jump 15 feet in the air.
• Cheiftan Brutes (a.k.a. Hammer fags) are scary as shit on legendary.
• You get this new feature called VISR mode. When in darkness, makes thing brighter and outlines the area and anything important (ie. Enemies outline red, weapons outline blue)
Other than that is just like any other Halo game, but it's still worth getting.
