Terrible news. Bio was apparently allergic to the antibiotics and was rushed to the hospital an hour ago. His throat had swelled up and he couldn't breathe. They are treating him now. I feel helpless to do anything and I'm scared senseless.

oh wow ...i....i wish i could help you guys this really sucks....i have been lucky so far to not be allergic to any meds ...when i had my c-section i got a skin infection around the stitching

Thanks for the support guys. They stopped the inflammation and are trying to find what other medicine(s) will work. Who would have thought Bio was allergic to penicillin?

Come to think of it, I think penicillin is a common thing to be allergic to. Not in the sense that it happens a lot, but in the sense that it seems to be more common than other things. But I could be wrong, I don't know.
