there is no forum of "Private Messaging" between players because I've been to some forums with them and was wondering if this site had them at all. Because I noticed that the "Signature Editing" didn't become available until a certain number of posts. so I was wondering if it was the same for this feature or is it for paid members only.

No there isn't. As i've read it is to protect against any content sharing and such. if i can find the thread i"ll post it
