since nobody seems to really check the old posts, i thought i would bring back this type of thread.

just let out whatever you want the whole forum to know. whether it's a good thing or bad thing. just get it off your chest.

i have a time machine in my apartment. it's essentially a cardboard box and on the side i wrote "time machine" in sharpie.

i'll start.

there are a few things i love about the snow on the ground. from just the serenity and peace of seeing the snow fall softly to the ground, or me not having to go to work because i cant get out of the driveway . but thats besides the point. the point is that snow can really let you be you for a little while. some people will tell other to act their age but as soon as you have about a foot of snow on the ground, well now look whos acting like they are 12 again. if people think i'm stupid for sledding down a hill in a trashcan lid even though i'm 22, i know i'm having way more fun than they are, and i'll be a better person because i know how to have fun. my fiance does the same thing (even though she goes down face first and then wonders why her face is so much colder than it should be) but i digress lol. i personally love the sight of seeing snow on the ground. people making snow statues just to destroy them, or putting some effort into it to keep it. parents having fun with their kids throwing snowballs at each other, but then you always have that downer asshole that wants to ruin everything by coming through with a plow and rock salt. i dont understand why we cant have some real old fashioned fun like i know i used to when i was a kid. where did all that nostalgia go.


please tell me i'm not the only one that feels this way. help bring it back. go make a snow angel, build a snowman. have a snowball fight with your friends and family, and see how much fun your ass has. you might be thinking i'm stupid for putting this up, but i just wanted to get this off my chest and find out where everyones "good old times" they talk about went.
