Boatswain Staggard

Staggard the Boatswain, or simply "Boatswain" as his men call him, is not someone you'd be glad to be alone with! He's a huge, massive, old Gray Wolf, with impressive arms and a grin that would scare a stone. His strength is pure legend among the sailors of many a dock: they whisper to each other, in the smoky taverns, about the way he once broke a mast simply using his fists, though none of them actually saw him doing so…

He is a hardened sea wolf, fierce, grumpy, violent and irascible, and holds his crew with an iron fist: but he's also an expert commander, and he never gives punishment without a reason. He consider his old and battered ship his home, where nobody is allowed to move, decide or even think without his personal permission.

His past dates back to many, many years ago: and as far as you go, you will never find something about his life not concerning a ship. He's been almost everywhere, he's seen almost everything, he's run almost any kind of risk; still, most of his life is shrouded in the mist of legend, and who knows, if his public face is as true as it seems...
